The GB Hot Rod Deluxe puts out 40-watts of power into one 12'', 100-watt Jenson C12K speaker which allows this amp to handle the singing soloing style of George Benson with incredible range and great clarity. The 6L6 tubes used in the GB Hot Rod Deluxe give this amp that unmistakable, rich-in-tone bottom end and the all-tube preamp, includes a 12AT7 up front to give this amp that clean, well-defined tone; especially with humbucking pickups. The solid-pine construction of the GB Hot Rod Deluxe cabinet minimizes the weight of the amplifier while optimizing the tonal resonance.

The GB Hot Rod Deluxe will give you complete control and astonishing tonal range. The GB Hot Rod Deluxe features Master Volume, Middle, Bass, Treble and Drive Volume Controls for precise tonal shaping.  Also featured on the GB Hot Rod Deluxe is Fender's resounding spring reverb as well as a presence control and a bright switch. The three, footswitchable channels employed in the GB Hot Rod Deluxe include a clean channel and drive/more drive channels to give you a wide range of tones from a sparkling clean to an extremely dirty overdrive.

The gray-black vinyl covering, silver-strand grille cloth and "GB" logo badge were personally specified by Benson himself for his signature Hot Rod Deluxe and comes stock with a road-worthy deluxe padded amp cover and two-button footswitch.
