The Flight Story Ultra Travel Ukulele is a polycarbonate reinforced plastic soprano travel ukulele with a thin, resonant, and responsive lattice-braced soundboard and fluorocarbon strings, creating a bright and punchy sound. With a zero fret and precision engineering, the instrument features ideal action and excellent intonation for an enjoyable playing experience, and the slotted bridge makes string changes easy to accomplish.

Polycarbonate Reinforced Plastic

The Flight Ultra Soprano Ukulele is made of polycarbonate reinforced plastic, welded together with an ultrasonic process.  The ukulele has an ultra-thin lattice-braced soundboard, creating one of the loudest plastic-based ukuleles on the market.

Molded neck and fingerboard

The neck and fingerboard of the Flight Ultra Soprano Travel Ukulele are made from the same polycarbonate reinforced plastic as the rest of the ukulele.  The material is resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, and has excellent action.  Say goodbye to sharp fret ends and warped necks!

Zero fret, integrated saddle, and fluorocarbon strings

The Flight Ultra Soprano Travel ukulele features a zero fret and integrated non-adjustable saddle, which keeps the string action low and intonation on point.  To top it off, the ukulele comes with Flight fluorocarbon strings, which feel great, sound awesome, and intonate properly.

Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. Flight is often recognized for our travel ukuleles, and the headstock of the Flight Ultra Soprano Travel Ukulele is meant to be reminiscent of the headstock design of the travel series. The Flight Ultra Soprano Travel Ukulele has a rounded back, which can make it more difficult to hold for some players.  We added a single strap button to assist players that need a strap to more comfortably hold their ukulele.  We offer a selection of affordable, quality Flight Ukulele Straps which would make a great accessory for your ukulele!

Every Flight ukulele includes a gig bag.  The Flight Ultra Soprano Travel Ukulele does not require a lot of protection, and as such, comes with a high quality drawstring bag that provides a way to transport the ukulele more comfortably and protect the strings from damage.

Every Flight ukulele includes a beginner’s guide and a set of stickers from Flight Ukulele.  The eight-page beginner’s guide is packed with all the information you need to start playing, including chord charts, strumming patterns, and chord progressions for your first drills.  And you can use the stickers to show your pride in owning a Flight ukulele!
