The Ibanez RG Series, with its unmistakable double-cutaway body style, has been the weapon of choice for hard rock and metal players worldwide and recognized as the ultimate metal machine since its inception in 1987. The iconic body style is carved from Mahogany, and capped off with a rough and ready Weathered Black flat finish. TheRG420's electronics boast a metal-approved dual Ibanez QM6 humbucker format. Both pickups employ ceramic magnets and paired with 5-way switch, the RG420 delivers slabs of explosive tone with an incredible tonal range.
The RG420 also gives you a fast-playing  3-piece Maple Wizard III neck. The Wizard neck boasts a thin profile, and a rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and is built for speed, playability and comfort.
The Cosmo black Edge Zero II bridge is recessed into the body for maximum player comfort. Loss of tuning is kept to a minimum, even through aggressive shredding. Case not included.
