The XL-B2 is a Sony compatible L-Series replacement battery pack, which may be used with the Sound Devices 633 mixer or 7-Series audio recorders, the Video Devices PIX 240i camera-mount video recorder, and the Video Devices PIX-E Series of 4K
recording monitors.
It may be used as the primary power source or as an onboard backup power supply. Unlike Ni-Cad and NiMh batteries, the
XL-B2 Lithium Ion battery pack does not have to be fully discharged before charging; however, it will naturally discharge itself over time. It is best to charge it the day before or same day you plan to use it.
The XL-B2 is a 7.4 V, 5200 mAh battery pack that may be recharged whenever convenient via the SD-Charge battery charger.
