Tesla VR-B1 Pickup

The VR-B1 pickup gives you the original 60’s vintage sound for the Jazz style basses. The pickup has a punchy low end with a bright, clear and smooth top end that has been a tradition of the early vintage single coil sounds. The VR-B1 pickups are carefully made with heavy Formvar copper wire, Alnico 5 pole piece magnets, a fiber bobbin and cloth covered wire.

2 Band Active PreAmp

The JB series basses come installed with a 2 band active preamp powered by a 9V battery giving you additional headroom and tone shaping capabilities. The individual control knobs for the High and Low frequency bands lets you dial in the desired tone giving you limitless tonal possibilities.
